What our team can help with

The appropriate visa category and supporting documents depend on each traveler’s circumstances and current requirements established by the applicable Chinese authorities.

1

Application preparation

We help organize required information, prepare the application, review entries, and address apparent errors or inconsistencies.

2

Supporting documents

We review materials and provide guidance on travel records, invitations, business, family, education, employment, and other case-specific documents.

3

Visa photographs

We provide visa photograph assistance, including expedited photograph services, as part of our travel-document support.

4

Submission and pickup

Where permitted under applicable procedures, submissions and pickups are handled in-house by China Visa Depot personnel rather than a third-party visa courier.

5

Status monitoring

When online information is available, our team proactively checks applications in process and follows up on requests for corrections, documents, or clarification.

6

Document return

Customers may pick up completed documents at our office, request return-shipping coordination for an additional fee, or arrange their own return shipping when appropriate.

Visa categories we may assist with: tourist, business, family or private visit, student, work, transit, and other applicable China visa categories, depending on eligibility and current official requirements.

Application assistance process

One coordinated path from preparation to return

The Consulate says the system automatically cancels an application when the required physical materials are not submitted within 30 days after the status changes. If canceled, a new online application is required.

  1. Discuss the case

We learn the traveler’s purpose, circumstances, and intended visa category, then explain the information and documents likely to be relevant.

  2. Prepare and review

We help prepare the application and review the available supporting records for completeness and apparent errors before submission.

  3. Coordinate submission

When the materials are ready and applicable procedures permit, our personnel coordinate submission to the appropriate Chinese consular authority.

  4. Monitor and respond

We check available status information and work with the customer if corrections, clarification, or additional documentation are requested.

  5. Pickup or return

When applicable, we coordinate pickup and arrange office collection or requested return shipping after the authority completes its process.

Status follow-up by our staff

The Chinese consulate does not generally email China Visa Depot routine application-status updates. When an application is in process and online status information is available, our staff therefore checks the available status approximately three to four times per day, every day.

The applicable authority may also provide a pickup date or other case information. If it requests corrections, clarification, or additional documentation, we work with the customer to address the request.

What remains outside our control: when a status changes, when a decision is made, and whether a visa is issued.

Customer documents

Careful preparation and controlled handling

Applications and supporting materials are prepared and reviewed with customers through our Los Angeles office.

Identify what applies

Depending on the case, records may include a passport, photograph, travel details, hotel or flight information, invitation materials, business records, family records, education records, employment records, or other required items.

Review before submission

Our staff reviews the application and available supporting documents for completeness and apparent errors before submission.

Restrict original-document handling

Original customer documents are handled only by authorized China Visa Depot personnel while they are in our possession.

Retain only as reasonably needed

Records may be retained for processing, recordkeeping, customer service, legal, operational, or other legitimate business purposes. Electronic records are periodically reviewed and may be securely deleted when no longer needed.

Document care

Start with clear, case-specific guidance

We help customers understand what information may be relevant before sensitive original documents are handled.
